The food was nice and there were a good choice of dishes in the menu. The unit we got was spotless and immaculate with comfy beds and a very acceptable breakfast. The location was stunning and lovely for walking around Castle of Santa Cruz.

We recommend this property, enjoyed its location. The place is wonderful and fairly clean, everything is modern, it should have higher than 4 star rating. The staff are very helpful, the location is perfect.

It was based in big building in a cool and breathtaking location, in Coruna the night life never stops. Easily reached O'sampaio, located at a medium distance from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there. I was offered a room with good views of the sea. Complimentary wireless internet, a TV set, and floor to ceiling windows where all available.

The place was fairly clean and staff was amazingly attentive and very helpful. The queen room I got was new-fashioned. The location was nice for first time visitors to Santa Cruz de Oleiros. And it's at a moderate distance from A Grelha de Sardy, ate there once or twice.

A wonderful stay, wished we had been able to have time to spend 2 nights. I was upgraded to a junior suite without asking, and ended up being next to my family right in the next room/balcony. The front desk staff spoke good English and were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The view was beautiful, the balcony huge and beautifully landscaped with shrubbery, flowers and even a miniature orange tree. The room service was good. The hotel has a fab location with brilliant views. The staff were extremely helpful. Fresh and modern decor. Brilliant parking if you are driving. The hotel has great views. The room had a great terrace which overlooked the beach and La Coruna in the distance.

Clean place, staff was exceptionally attentive and extremely friendly. Units with a comfortable bed. Unbeatable, stunning location in Santa Cruz de Oleiros, just off the sea and the bay of Coruna. Also, on reception who gave lots of advice on the area. Simply no complains at all, perfectly pleasant stay.

The units were large with a view of the harbour. The staff is very amiable and pleasant.

We stayed at Hotel Portocobo for a short trip to northern Galicia and were delighted by its convenient location. The hotel offers stunning sea views, a charming beach and a nearby park with a great vantage point of A Coruña. The free parking and friendly reception staff were definite pluses. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and would certainly return to this hotel for future visits to northern Galicia.

The hotel location is very good; the rooms are big.

There is a problem with the hotel buiding concept: as the rooms windows are huge (which is nice), the rooms facing the sea, at the end of the afternoon - at least in the summer - get so much sunlight that the rooms temperature are intolerable and the air conditioning system can't solve the problem (we had to ask to change to another room facing the street). These room's bathrooms don't have air conditioning and, due to that, you just can't say longer than one minute there at the end of the afternoon, in the summer. The whole hotel cleanliness is sloppy, as you notice some small details in cleanliness which are intolerable. The breakfast (food and service) is, undoubtly a 3 star hotel breakfast.

The staff was very very helpful and the food was nice. Its location was exceptionally nice, just 5 minutes walk from Castle of Santa Cruz. There was a wonderful restaurant, a local supermarket and local supermarkets next door.

The staff were not very friendly, didn't expect that coming.
